Brief Answer:
Either a normal response which should subside or an allergic reaction
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
Thank you so much for your kind response.
There are two possible scenarios:
1. If the rash or red spots subside in a while, and is not presenting with any swelling or itching then this is just a normal reaction to the i.v. and is nothing to worry about. You can apply a cold pack to the region, and also take a mild anti-inflammatory medication
2. This could be a mild reaction to one of the medications that were administered. Especially if any one of the substances was administered for the first time. You can take an anti-histamine medication and an anti-inflammatory medication and also apply a cold pack, this should more than suffice
I hope you find my response helpful ma'am. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
