Brief Answer:
Please, seek medical examination of this leg and possible immobilization!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this sprain and the severe pains that you have reported. The severity of your pain is concerning and i think you need to get this leg examined and probably and X-ray done. The ankle is very complex and at times a sprain may cause severe injury to the soft and bony structures here. Also, sprains need to be immobilized to allow for healing and appropriate pain control.

In all, please get this leg examined and at least an Xray done. Treatment will be guided by the information obtained from these. For now, avoid bearing weight on this joint, apply ice packs and take some Tylenol/Advil for pain relief and see your doctor as soon as possible.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

I have had x-rays done. but the right sides the bones feel push out. my toes even get so swollen I can't bend them and they get a tingling sensation as if my foot feel a sleep while resting it and standing. no signs of bruising.

Brief Answer:
Are you on any anti-inflammatory drugs?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the images.

I have reviewed them and they add more information. Are you on any drugs to reduce inflammation and pain? If not, I will recommend Tylenol and Ibuprofen. However, I will like this joint immobilized for healing. The severity of the pain you mentioned above means we cannot simply not do nothing because there is no fracture. Think about this and strongly consider so because immobilizing the joint is a great way of controlling pain and allowing for fast healing.

I wish you well and let me know what your thoughts are. Best wishes and wish you a speedy recovery!
