Question: my right testicle. not so much pain but more of a feeling that its there and feeling in the lower right abdominal area. again not real pain just seems like something is there. no pain to the touch in the abdominal area. right testicle on top slightly sore when I press on what seems like a bump with veins. any help thank you
Brief Answer:
Varicocele.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Such symptoms are most likely caused by varicocele (varices of spermatic cord). Quite characteristic for this issue are noodles like structures in the scrotum. So the bump with veins you have palpated can be varicocele.
The other possibility is epididymitis - an inflammation of epidydymis due to bacteria presence. Varicocele or testis inflammation should be also considered.
I suggest you to consult urologist and have testis ultrasound done. It is necessary to find out the exact reason of your symptoms and to make sure there is no cancer.
In case of varicocele laparoscopic surgery can fix it.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

can you tell me what the procedure of an ultrasound is? also you said surgery for varicocele but what for epididymitis?
Brief Answer:
.
Detailed Answer:
Ultrasound is a test where a doctor sticks a probe to a tissue. The probe sends waves which goes to a tissue and returns to a probe. This allows to see tissues under the skin. It works similar to sonar.
Epidydimitis should be treated with an antibiotic.

Detailed Answer:
Such symptom makes varicocle more possible but its really hard to give more precise answer without an ultrasound.
Such issue is not a rare thing for sure, so we can say its quite common.

Early detected testicular cancer is completely treatable. I just mentioned about it, but it really isnt that often. For sure it has nothing to do with melanoma.
