Brief Answer:
Possible cause the posture or position of the body while layd down

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

I am sorry to read that you are having so much trouble. I think the shoulder pain is just something temporary since we don't expect you to have done any repetitive movement to have caused impingement syndrome in shoulders. So I believe the stiffness and pain you have its mostly cause of your posture or lying in bed for a long time because of the surgery.

I don't know how much you are allowed to do activity now with the knee in post surgery recovery, but while you walk try to pay attention to your posture and keep your body straight, apply local analgesic and anti-inflammatory medicines to reduce pain and inflammation, be active as much as you can, to preserve the range of motion.

If the stiffness continues you may need physical therapy, but you may need it also because of the knee, so you can do for the shoulders at the same time.

I hope this is helpful and makes sense.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Thank you. This is what I expected. Also lots of stiffness in the hip flexors which is probably attributed to the same.
