Suggest Treatment For Pain And Weakness In The Knee
Question: I am an above kee amputee. I have a prosthetic knee that gives no support when I am getting up or sitting down. I feel I began with a very poor prothesist. I have gone to another one now but Medicare will not pay for the micrprosser knee that I need. I have had a knee replacement and revision on my remaining knee. It is still very painful and weak. My total weight is on this knee when I am rising from a sitting position. Do you have any suggestions for obtaining a better knee. Age 66, female. Thank you.

I am aware of the information you have given me. I will not have any more surgery on my knee. How can I get medicare to approve this new knee?
