Suggest Treatment For Pain And White Blisters On The Tongue
Question: My daughter has developed white blisters on her tongue and she is in pain and unable to eat anything. Can you please recommend any oral gel that can relief her pain.
Had applied Orasore once on her tongue but she was a bit uncomfortable with it. So,My mother in law is just trying simple home remedies :-
She is giving her tomato, yoghurt & honey.
Please suggest some kind of oral medicine for application or any medicine.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Glycerine solution and zincovit...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern. Perhaps those white blisters are common canker sores. They heal soon in few days. Orasore gel contents anaesthetic agent which helps to treat painful mouth sores. I will encourage you to continue the same thrice daily and before every feed. If she finds it uncomfortable, you can instead try glycerine solution. The solution should be applied on the sores.
In addition, I will also recommend starting zincovit syrup 5ml once a day.
If the sore persists for more than 5 days or if it hurts more, please visit her doctor for close examination.
Hope this helps.
Regards
PS: Avoid hot and spicy diet....
