Suggest Treatment For Pain At The Ball Of The Foot

Question: I HAVE A PAIN ON MY RIGHT FOOT BALL. IT HAS A 3/8" SEMICIRCLE HARD SPOT IN THE SOFT TISSUE AND GETS BETTER THEN WORSE. I TREATED IT WITH ICE PACKS THE IBUPROFEN AND I COULD WALK ON IT..IT SOUNDS LIKE PLANTER'S WART--BUT NO OUTWARD APPEARANCE..
Brief Answer:
Could be a callosity or a plantar wart
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,I am Dr Gopal Goel , Orthopedic Surgeon.
This hard spot in your right foot ball could be a plantar wart or a callosity( Thickening of normal skin ). I suggest you do hot fomentation, apply Vaseline and use silicone padding at appropriate place in your shoes to avoid pressure while walking.
Take Painkillers only it pains much. If it is a callosity then it should start improving in few days time. Else you will have to consult a skin specialist.
Thanx for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
