Brief Answer: XXXXXXX 6 dose.If unbearable hydrocodone can increase Detailed Answer: Hi XXXX,thanks for using HCM. I went through the query and I feel very sorry for the agony being faced by you. The vicodin contains 2 components and 10mg part is hydrocodone which can be given for XXXXXXX 6 doses as well the other component of 325mg is acetaminophen which may not have any further pain reduction effect. The over dosage of both the drugs may be problematic and hence maximum 6 dose is adviced. Even increased dose of hydrocodone can cause nausea and vomiting. So better is take 1 tab every 4 hour once. If unbearable pain you can increase dose of hydrocodone by taking 2 at any one point. With doctor's advice you can also try other drugs like GABAPANTINE or CARBAMAZAPINE or antidepressants as all these have some effect in relieving pain. If pain is still severe with doctor's advice you can try mild sedative for now. I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask if any further queries and I will be glad to answer them. Wish you good health and faster recovery. Regards
