Suggest Treatment For Pain In Abdominal Area
Question: I have been having weird pains all over my stomach at random times (different places). when i press on the area that hurts, it feels very tight, hard and tender. the pain is kinda dull but sharp briefly. it goes away eventually but comes back, same place or a different one. i thought it was maybe tighter pants but it happens with loose shorts and mostly when sitting. i'm worried. i do pass gas and almost have normal bowels. i also have horrible acid reflux every morning. what could it be?

Hi,
The symptoms what you described is non specific ,if the pain is in some particular area then i could have really helped you better.But what ever the symptoms what you described that may be due to some muscle spasm,if so then consider taking some anti spasmodic ,if this is helping you in relieving the symptoms then you got the answer.
OR else it may be severe reflux disease,for which you can try aome antacid with life style modification with physcial activity ,Avoid spicy and oily food ,have proper sleep and avoid stress.
Dont sleep immediately after having dinner wait for an hour and go to bed.
Try all the above remedies if still symptoms are persisting then let me know .

The pain is usually coming from the area around the belly button (a little to the left or right of it) and sometimes it's the middle right/left near my rib cage. I will try both suggestions and see what happens but what is an anti spasmodic i could take? do i need to see a doctor for that?
