Brief Answer:
Please do lymphnode biopsy and consult TB specialist

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. As there is no improvement in size of nodes even with one month of TB medicine then you must get lymph node biopsy done and also consult TB specialist doctor in XXXXXXX

2. In the first report it is mentioned as left side neck nodes are larger than right side nodes. The doctor has also written FNAC reactive lymphadenitis. Reactive lymphadenitis is not always TB. Therefore it is suggested to do biopsy of neck lymphnode to confirm TB

3. J XXXXXXX main laboratory (near RIMS) in XXXXXXX will do lymphnode biopsy and you can contact them for further directions.

4. Biopsy report is important to know if your wife has TB or any other condition.

5. If TB is confirmed after doing biopsy then probably the usual medicines are not working and then better medicines have to be given after consulting TB specialist. Please also do a chest X ray if not done earlier.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Please find details given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

1. Since you are requesting names of good TB specialist in XXXXXXX and preferably Orchid hospital HB road then please consult Dr XXXXXXX Sarkar. He is a leading TB specialist and consults patients in his own clinic and Orchid hospital.

2. You can also go to Tata main hospital XXXXXXX or Gangaram hospital XXXXXXX but they are far away and for any suspected TB the patient has to go many times to the doctor during treatment. XXXXXXX is crowded and difficult to get appointment.

3. Please give your wife good food to eat including vegetables, fruits and boiled egg and make her gain weight. Please show to the TB specialist and confirm diagnosis and if medicines are working.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. I suggest you must follow what Dr XXXXXXX Sarkar has told and plan a trip to Vellore.

2. Please make arrangement for 10 to 15 days because certain tests will be required for making confirmed diagnosis.
