Suggest Treatment For Pain In Eyes And Blurred Vision While Having Glaucoma

Question: I have been taking Lorazepam long term and started taking Cipralex recently. I had Glaucoma surgery in 1999. My pressure has been stable for over 12 years, it is stable up to now. My problem is I recent started having severe pains in my right eye and sometimes in my head, on the right side. Now my vision is so blurred that even in bright sunshine I see very fuzzy. I realize some damage must have taken place. My question is can that damage be reversed or repaired?
Brief Answer:
see opthalmologist, immediate examination and treatment is better
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome.
Since when you are facing this problem?
Have you recently checked by any opthalmologist?
Pain and blurred vision in patient of glaucoma, immediately you have to get your intra ocular pressure checked.
So I would suggest you to immediately see opthalmologist for Tonometry ( to check intra ocular pressure) and for Ophthalmoscopic examination to rule out any damage to ratina, optic nerve.
Yes the damage can be reversed but it need to be examined and your intra ocular pressure is needed to be lowered.
Hope this helps.
I'll be glad to address your further query.
Take care.
