Suggest Treatment For Pain In Foot Sole

Question: I am having pain in my sole portion of my heal and am not able to walk properly. I consulted with a ortho and he said it is plantar fascitis and prescribed some pain killer. How can I treat this problem.
Brief Answer:
Get investigations done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query.
To make exact diagnosis get xray of affected foot on AP and Lateral view, serum uric acid, E.S.R done and send me the report.
Till then you can take aceclofenac + thiocochicoside combination three times a day by prescription of local doctor.
Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.
Avoid prolong standing.
Do calf and foot muscle strengthening exercises as uploaded on youtube.
I would discuss it further after seeing the reports.
I hope it helps.
Thanks.
Dr.Singh.

Brief Answer:
Have diet with less protein.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the response my friend.
Uric acid 6.7 is considered as borderline value. You have not posted your xray report to me I just want to exclude the presence of spur at your heel.
Anyhow, in addition to above advise give previously you should avoid high protein diet i.e avoid meat, fish, whole pulses (masur, rajmah, chana, chole, etc.). Other dals are allowed.
Avoid vegetables and fruits - green peas, spinach, french beans, brinjal, cauliflower, mushroom, chickoo, custard apple.
Avoid bakery products like cakes, pastries, cookies and other sugary delights which are rich in saturated fats and trans fats.
Drink plenty of fluids to help flush uric acid from your body i.e drink a minimum of 3 and 1/2 liters of water daily. Water is a medium that aids the kidney to 'strain' the impurities from your body.
Choosing green leafy vegetables, cabbage and high fiber foods instead for regulating uric acid levels.
You must also take tab febuxostat 40 mg once a day by discussing it with your doctor.
I hope it helps.
Thanks.
