Hello XXXXXXX
It may be related to posture of knee joint

Since when are you having pain?
May I know your occupation?
Do you have over weight?
Are you doing any heavy physical exercises?
Is pain radiating to foot?
Do you feel any tingling sensation or type of electric shock in knee when you change the position?

Hi Bhagyalaxmi,
I have been feeling the pain from 15 days or more . No I am not overweight. I am 85kgs with 183 cm height. I work as an software engineer. I dont any workouts, It's just in the knee the pain occurs when I fold it when I am sitting, squatting or putting my leg upright when I am in a sleeping position. I have never taken an Xray too..
Thanks in advance

Brief Answer:
It may be postural related
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for your information.
It may be due to prolong sitting in front of your computer due to contraction of muscles , which causes stiffness of joint and causes pain.
I suggest you take break in between your work like every 2 hours and walk for 5 minutes.
Do not cross your legs while sitting in front of your computer or try to do not it in same position for long time; it may increase pressure over ligament.
I also suggest you do stretch exercises which give relaxation and avoid ligament strain or meniscal injury.
I also suggest you Ibuprofen 200 mg for pain, use it sparingly.
Ice pack may help you. Eat calcium contains food.
If you will not feel with aforementioned measures after 10 days then I suggest you visit an orthopedic doctor. Doctor may advice X ray.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
