Brief Answer:
You need to consult an orthopedician.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain around the iliac crest can be due to a muscle spasm but the associated foot drop is suggestive of a nerve compression or a nerve injury. For this, it is best to consult an orthopedician. You will need to have proper investigations like MRI scan and nerve conduction for evaluation. The treatment will then depend on the cause.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
