Brief Answer:
Possible viral faringhitis but depending on the signs may need antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

It seems like you are having a sore throat which radiates at the ear because they are connected together.

I would suggest to take a pain killer regularly (unless you have a contraindication) like Tab Paracetamol 650mg three times daily after food for next 2-3 days. This will keep the pain and inflammation under control.

Check in the mirror if you have white spots in the tonsils. If you have fever too then you might need an antibiotic.

If no fever and no white spots then I would expect for you to start with the signs of a viral infection with runny nose and cough.

For now take only the pain killer. Drink plenty of warm liquids to stay well hydrated (luke warm water, soups, broths, menta tea etc.)
If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
