Question: I have an upset stomach for a couple of days, (no pain in abdomen)and I've developed a hemoroid and I have not been able to have a bowel movement for a couple of days. Should I check into the hospital to check it out?

Brief Answer:
depends

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Since you are not having abdominal pain it may not be that serious.
However, if you begin to have fever or abdominal pain you should go to emergency immediately.
You could try some Miralax and see if that would help you have a bowel movement.
The upset stomach may just be coming from the constipation.
If that does not work or if you feel increasingly uncomfortable then you may need to go to an urgent care or to emergency since this is the weekend
I hope you get some relief soon,
Dr. Robinson
