Hi, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I went through your query and understood your concerns.
For my patients with similar complaints after taking complete history and examination , I would like to get few investigations depending on examination findings.
You may require to get ultrasound scan of joint.
With your description of symptoms I can think of two possibilities
1. frozen shoulder - can be confirmed by examination.
2. rotator cuff muscle tear or bursitis - treatment depends on analgesic with anti inflammatory .
Hope I answered your query. Feel free to ask further related query.
