Suggest Treatment For Pain Near The Vaginal Opening

The mild to moderate injury during sex can cause pain/ fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum. I can understand your concern for the pain and burning around the vaginal opening.
Most commonly after 3 days of sex the kind of pain you have described occurs mainly due to vigorous sex. The mild to moderate injury during sex can cause pain right at the vaginal opening. The abrasions and tear can cause burning on contact with urine.
The other most common cause is due to yeast infection. In the starting of yeast infection, there could be similar findings as you have described. The only difference between the simple injury and yeast infection is by discharge and odor.
In yeast infelicitous we additionally find whitish curd like discharge along with bit foul odor.
You just check any of these things in your case. For yeast infection we use an anti-fungal cream such as clotrimazole.
For simple injuries the only part is avoidance of intercourse for couple of days or till complete subsidence of pain and discomfort. Maintain good hyginen to avoid any secondary infection. A pain killer tablet can be taken for the interim of relief from the pain.
I hope these informations will relax your mind. I will be glad to answer any further queries.

It appears to be the initial stage of the fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome back and thanks a lot for your swift follow up with further details.
In case if you have discharge along with discomfort then the possibility of yeast infection is most likely. It is better to avoid intercourse for atleast a week period so that complete healing should occur.
It appears to be the initial stage of the fungal infection. An anti-fungal treatment is quite necessary at this stage. In my patients I generally use clotrimazole pessaries (vaginal tablets) or cream. If required I also add an antifungal tablet such as fluconazole 150 mg once a week. You can meet your doctor and get further guidance.
For the interim of relief from pain you can take a painkiller tablet such as dilcofenac or ibuprofen or paracetamol after meals.

Herpes generally manifest as multiple blisters and not as a single blister.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back to the forum and thanks a lot for your further follow up.
This is quite true that whenever we are anxious we think of worst of possibility. But that is not always true and most of the times we only perceive a normal thing as abnormal one.
Herpes generally manifest as multiple blisters and not as a single blister. These are quite painful and remains only for a day or two and then forms ulcers. I can not get anything like that in your history. A single blister is not a manifestation of any STD but even then if you are worried then can send a good resolution picture of the affected area (under Report section on right side of the page).
Bump inside the vagina are most commonly the mucosal surface elevations. You should not put a finger inside even with gloves as can injure the inside soft surface. Do not be anxious and stressed regarding the same. Even if you are worried then can meet a gynecologist and get checked rather than self checking.

I will keep the first possibility of just a friction ulcer after harsh sex.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back and thanks a lot for your further follow up with the picture.
I have analyzed the picture with best diligence and can make out an ulcer over the vaginal opening.
I will keep the first possibility of just a friction ulcer for the same due to simple erosions occurring at the time of intercourse. This is present just at the vaginal opening so it is quite likely that the skin can get eroded due to vigorous sex.
I suggest you to avoid sex till the complete healing of the area. Do not try to manipulate or examine the area or touch the area frequently as can cause further aggravation.
A course of antibiotic might be necessary for early healing. You can meet your family physician to get yourself examined and accordingly best suited antibiotics. Till that time you can apply an antibiotic cream such as mupirocin or fucidin for better healing.
I hope this information will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.
"Wish you good health"
