Suggest Treatment For Painful Boil In Ear Canal
Otitis externa , needs management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Boil in your ear is near draining and should not be manipulated as it will lead to spread of infection. Other etiologies like swimmer's ear or other causes of otitis externa should be ruled out.
You need to see an otorhinolaryngologist, they will prescribe you some oral as well as topical antibiotics and painkillers . Ear drops of lignocaine will be also helpful. The doctor may also decide whether it needs to be incised or drained or wait and see considering ont he size and volume of pus in it. Talk to your doctor and let them decide what is best for you.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
