Boils can occur anywhere in the body.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
If your husbund is having multiple and recurrent boils then it could be because of
i) blockage of ducts present in the skin when becomes infected or
ii) infection of hair follicle or
iii) poor hygiene or
iv) increased blood sugar.
In case of smaller boils, proper oral antibiotics course (preferably cephalosporins like cefadroxyl or cefixime) will be the best treatment to get rid off it and in larger boils (more than 3 to 4 cm),it needs to be drained completely under local anesthesia.
He must go to nearby physician for routine blood count, ESR, blood sugar (to rule out diabetes) and urine examination to identify the possible cause of this recurrent boils.
As boils can occur anywhere in the body anytime,it is difficult to prevent boils as the exact reason behind is not clear but you can take some precautions to avoid it.
1) Stay hygienic and drink pure water
2) Always have balanced diet with more fruits and vegetables.
3) Quit alcohol and smoking (if he does)
4) when boils occur, take complete course of antibiotics otherwise it will reappear.
5) Avoid using razor to shave hairs of private area rather one can use hair removing creams.
Hope this detailed information will help you and if you need any clarification then ask me.

Regarding personal hygiene he showers 2-3 times daily..
And the boils are not one or two that appears then go.. No they are multi boils and overlap each other and he is kinda living with it everyday the change is only a matter of place where new boils appear
Its not a simple boil
So is this also something that have to be drained all over his body ? Or there is a kind of procedure that will remove the root of this problem because it keeps moving in his body and its painful imagine living with boils all over sensetive parts specialt the armpit
Lots of boils
That are so painful
Small boils can be cured by oral antibiotics.

Hi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
If boils are small (less than 3 cm) then they do not need to be drained, only full course of oral antibiotics with anti-inflammatory tablets are sufficient to get rid off them but it does not guarantee that he will not have any other boils in future.
But yes, larger boils are need to be drained by expert under local anaesthesia.
The causes of this recurrent boils could be low immunity as seen in diabetes, malnutrition, alcoholism, obesity or person on immunosuppresive drugs.
I understand his concern of recurrent boils but your husband can consult physician who will examine him and can order some relevant investigations to find out the above causes if there are or not.
As i said earlier,it is difficult to prevent boils as the exact reason behind is not known but you can take some precautions to avoid it which i have already discussed.
Hope this will be helpful to you,
