Question: I have gastroparesis and I am having pain and cramping on the right side of my stomach. I have only been able to have liquids today except for Gerber lil tots pasta and cheese so it's not like I've gone crazy and off track from the gastroparesis diet.

Brief Answer:
liver and gall bladder are main organs on right side

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain in the abdomen can be related to structures in the affected area or pain that is referred from another part.

In most cases, it is due to structures in the area.

ON the right side, there are: overlying skin , muscles, gallbladder, liver, right kidney (though pain may come from the side or back).

If there is a history of heavy lifting or increased abdominal exercise, then it may be the muscles in this area

If this is not the case, then the pain may be related to gall bladder or liver disease with gallbladder disease being more common eg gall stones or inflammation/infection involving the gall bladder

If the pain continues or it is severe, then it would be best to see a doctor for assessment.
Abdominal pain is best diagnosed by examining the abdomen.

Imaging may be necessary eg ultrasound

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
