Suggest Treatment For Painful Cuts On The Fingers
Question: cut middle finger deep, on top of finger above nail, removing skin, painful. Also cut tip of index finger pretty deep.

HI.
Noted your history albeit very short.
First of all clean the wounds and the whole palm with liquid povidone iodine to make the area sterile.
If the cut edges are approximate and are not separated then a proper bandaging with sterile gauze would be sufficient.
If the cuts are deep they may need stitches with fine thread for approximation to approximate the cut edges as it helps earliest healing.
Tetanus booster dose if needed.
Continue Aleve as needed
May need an antibiotic to prevent infection.
Elevating the hand above heart-level in lying down position helps to reduce the pain, edema and thus helps healing faster and better.
