Brief Answer:
can be TMJ problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic,
From your symptoms it is possible that you are suffering fom temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

The lower jaw meets the skull just in front of the ear, so pain arising from the joint is frequently misinterpreted as that arising from the ear.

Just need a few more details regarding your condition in order to analyse better.

1) Do you experience pain while opening or closing your mouth. Does it hurt to chew ?
2) do you have clicking sound when you chew ?
3) Which antibiotic did you take and the dose ?.

Awaiting your response,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.

Brief Answer:
not to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

There is no need to worry.
In all probablity you have pain arising from the TM joint.

The treatment is very simple.

You can take pain killers taht have been prescribed to you.

Do not eat anything hard for 10 days, you should be on soft diet only.

Do not open your mouth wide.

Always support your lower jaw while yawning.

Side to side movement of the jaw should be avoided.

The condition is self limiting, You will feel better in a few days.
