Suggest Treatment For Painful Frozen Shoulders

Question: I have 2 very painful frozen shoulders. ROM is very limited. PT is suggested but finding time to do so is hard. Any other suggestions? I am 64, diabetic (insulin pump - Novolog) - Vitamin D levels very low- all muscles very tight especially legs always - had cortisone shot left shoulder but no tremendous results
Brief Answer:
You can try arthroscopic release of shoulder
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. i think you are having resistant frozen shoulder and now only option you have is to go for arthroscopic release. In this condition there is release of capsule by small cut and then manipulation under anaesthesia is done. Patient feel better immediately after surgery and then result of physiotherapy is better.
So I would suggest you to go for this. I hope you will get good range of movements. For vitamin D you should take 60000 unit vitamin D 3 per week for six weeks.
thanks
