Please give details and a picture.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
May I please know some more details and get a clear picture / photograph of the lump, you can attach to this query.
Since when do you have this lump?
Has it changed the color recently to green ?
Since when has it started to hurt ?
Has it enlarged recently ?
Is it soft to touch or hard like a cartilage or a bone ?
Is there any history of trauma or ear piercing ?
I know I am asking you too many questions, but the proper answers can help me to help you to give a proper diagnosis and guideline for treatment.
Please provide the information and if possible attach a clear photograph of the lump with ear. This is a good facility we have.
Just to enumerate few probable causes : this can be an infected sebaceous cyst, hemangioma, chondroma, granuloma, hematoma and so on
I have attached a picture.
Looks a cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the feedback, and the picture; history noted.
Since this is present for a few months, gradually getting bigger and got more sensitive in a week my tentative diagnosis would be a cyst. Since it is in the lobule there is no possibility of the chondroma or so. This is good as it will not recur after surgery.
I would advise you to get this operated before it enlarges and causes more problems. This would be a small surgery.
There are two benefits: One you get the lump out and secondly get the exact diagnosis after removing it.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for more if you need to, I shall be happy to assist.
