Question: I have been married since 1.5 years. We couldn't have sex as my partner does not get lubricated. Her vagina is very tight due to which I couldn't penetrate as she feels lot of pain. Please guide us with this situation as she is in lot of stress.
Is it possible to open hymen by medically?

Brief Answer:
Yes it can be done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

There are two things you can do in this regard.

First use enough time for foreplay as inadequate stimulation is most common cause for improper lubrication. Take at least thirty minutes for this and avoid penetration for at least initial two weeks.

I understand you have not made any success in last one and half year but this additional two weeks are to understand each other's body and go with flow. Since it is more of psychological problem rather than size of vagina these two weeks will be helpful to de-stress her feelings about sex and decrease stress will allow her to enjoy the foreplay and ultimately sex.

Second use some lubricants. There are good choices available from house of Durex and you can chose one as per your own personal interests. Although this is option for treatment but without easing fear of sex as advised the chances of success are low. So the second suggestion should be used after initial two weeks of non penetrative sex.

In addition regard your question about medical removal of hymen I like to inform you that there is no role of surgical removal of hymen although it can be done. Even if it is done it does not correct the lubrication.

Lastly I feel if the above measures do not help you the possibility of vaginismus should be kept and she should be evaluated from psychological point of view.

I hope this helps you.
