Suggest Treatment For Painful Lump Near Elbow
Question: I have a lump near my elbow that seems to be growing. It is flesh-colored and hard and somewhat painful if touched. I went to a dermatologist a while back, and she told me I could not have it removed b/c it would grow back larger. I can't remember what she called it though, and now I'm suspecting I have Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and that this may be part of it. What is it called and can I have it removed? (I don't see where to upload a photo, or I would.)

Hi.
Thank you. I have reviewed the images. Most likely it is a Dermatofibroma, also known as benign fibrous histiocytoma.
Treatment of a suspected dermatofibroma is by excision biopsy and histopathological confirmation of diagnosis.
