Is Clear Thin Discharge During Pregnancy Sign Of Amniotic Fluid Leak?
hi i am on my 3rd pregnancy and have polyhydramnios,i also have ehlers danlos syndrome.my first 2 female pregnancys were normal and either on exact due date or 3 days early.i am now 36+4 days preganant and in extreme pain.diabetes test came back fine abdomen little enlarged but ok they said.yet im growing more and more uncomfortable everyday and not sleeping.i have had a slite trickle or loss of clear thin fluid and wondered if it could be my waters slowly going? it isnt like normal discharge and tastes very acidy, sorry for the tmi.ive not had it before.it is normal or could my waters go early due to the polyhydramnios?could i ask to be induced as i cant take anymore pain and sleepless nights?
hi yes it's a high possibility that it could have been high leak of the amniotic fluid which hot sealed off on its own . polyhydramnios patients are at a risk for leak and rupture of membranes . in case you experience it again you must visit the er as polyhydramnios pts with leak can have hand of cord prolapse etc so you need to be careful. yes you can be induced at 38 weeks if polyhydramnios is causing you a lot of discomfort. all the best take care.
