Brief Answer:
peripheral neuropathy is a possibility

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The nerves are responsible for sensations in the body.

Abnormal sensations can be due to neuropathy which is abnormal functions of the nerves.
It can be temporary or permanent and there are different possible causes.

Some of the more common causes are: (1) low levels of vitamin b12 or folate
(2)abnormal levels of vitamin b6
(3)diabetes
(4)trauma to the nerves at some point along the path
(5)thyroid disease
(6)liver or kidney disease
(7)autoimmune diseases such as RA or lupus
(8)exposure to toxins
(9)neurological conditions such as ms or stroke
(10)idiopathic- cause is not found
(11)infection
(12)side effect of medication

If it continues then you may need to see your doctor for an assessment. This should include history and examination along with blood tests such as complete blood count, thyroid function tests, liver and kidney function tests, vitamin levels

There are medications that can help with neuropathy if it is confirmed, additional treatment would depend on the specific cause

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
