Ayurveda Management & Approach

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following is my opinion on your case history:

1. before starting with the management of uric acid do let me know:

i. Is it due to taking high protein rich diet [excessive production] or due to any problem in kidney [under exretion] which will require your Renal function tests [RFT]

ii. Is your lifestyle active or sedentary?
iii. Any associated medical condition known to increase uric acid i.e.: being overweight, having high blood sugar, low thyroid value and abnormal lipid profile?
iv. Addicted to alcohol [esp. beer]? and sometimes deficiency of niacin [Vit.B3].

2. although skin rash is a mild side effect of the said drug, but please have a face to face interaction with your attending physician.

3. Do let me know about above questionnaire for treatment aspect, till then dietary regime is advised:

i. Avoid: protein rich food: mushroom, turnip, horse/black gram, peas,radish, curd,sour-bitter-heavy-hot (prefer lukewarm), day time sleeping,excess physical exertion,sesame, alcohol,meat,brinjal,capsicum,fenugreek, garlic/onion/ginger, butter milk,asafoetida, pickles,red pepper.

Brief Answer:
Vit. B12 Management

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. Since Vit. B12 is manufactured only by bacteria thus found naturally in animal products [true vegetarians thus can suffer from the deficiency].

Take: cheese [Swiss /mozzarella], eggs, shell fish, liver [beef],fortified soy products, fortified cereals, and most importantly injectables are preferred

PS. we are making capsules of Vitamin B12 [which contains 2500 mcg] as against 1500 found in market, so if interested I can courier you the same
