Question: I have pain when I urinate. My vagina is red and I see little blood when I wipe.

It could be due to urine infection.
You need to get your urine checked for pus cells and red cells.
Also dryness in the vaginal area can cause similar problem.
May I know your age? Are you post menopausal?

I am 55 and I had a full hysterectomy last year because I had uterine cancer.

I am having pain in my vagina still. I also have a clear discharge.

Hi,

Both pain and vaginal discharge causing discomfort, and blood tinging cannot be neglected. More so as you have had surgery done for uterine cancer. You need to be seen by a gynaecologist who should examine the vaginal vault to see for the cause of discharge and blood staining.do not take this lightly and see a doctor immediately.

Most likely it's infection which can be easily treated by antibiotics. But more serious causes such recurrence of cancer in the vault need to be ruled out.
