Question: Two days ago I could feel a protuberance at/in the entrance to my anus. It appears to be a polyp that can be moved around and pushed without any discomfort. At the front of the polyp in the wall or lining of the anus is a hard protuberance that I estimate to be 2-3cm's in length and is similar in shape to that of a clitoris. This runs from the polyp deeper into the anus. This hard protuberance shaped like a clitoris hurts when pressure is applied and seems to cause continuous discomfort. I'm 56 in great health and have never had anything wrong with my anus. Any ideas?

In your analysis did you consider (as mentioned above in the initial question) the hard and long clitoris shaped protuberance that's 2 cm's in length runs from the possible polyp deeper into the anus and has continuous pain and discomfort. The quality of this pain would be 1 to 1.5 out of 5. There was no mention or diagnosis of this in your answer nor was it addressed. So I would like to know and understand what this associated hard clitoral like protuberance is that's associated with the possible polyp. It doesn't protrude like the polyp and it's more underneath the anus wall lining.. The polyp shaped protuberance associated with the clitoral shaped one isn't much of a concern, but the clitoral shaped one is what my instinct is trying to learn about. When I touch it it feels very similar to the feeling when I massage a women's clitoris. Please explain. Thanks
