You have panic disorder. Consult a psychiatrist
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic. I, Dr Abhishek Kapoor, would help you in this query.
I think, you are suffering from panic disorder. It is an anxiety disorder characterized by recurring severe panic attacks and these attacks typically last about ten minutes or less than that, but can last twenty minutes to more than an hour or until helpful intervention is made.
Common symptoms of an attack include rapid heartbeat, perspiration, dizziness, dyspnea, trembling, uncontrollable fear such as: the fear of losing control and going crazy, the fear of dying, headache,
tingling sensation in arms and
hyperventilation. Due to number of attacks, patients usually remain apprehensive and that lead to further attacks.
Same problem is with you. In that case, you should consult a psychiatrist rather than
neurologist. In treatment, you need antidepressant like
paroxetine or low dose
benzodiazepine that would help to control further attacks.
In case, you need further help, you can ask.
