Suggest Treatment For Paranoid Delusions

Question: I sent an email to XXXXXXX tonight but he had me blocked. My son was very angry that he blocked me for a whole month. I am so very hurt. We were able to get it through on the second try. My question is why would he block me for a whole month.Doesn't he care anymore? We can only go to Israel if he comes back to me..why doesn't love me anymore right? I am so heartbroken...yeah it went through eventually but my son is so pissed with the way he has treated me. Please help me.I told him how sad I was and how much I loved him but it doesn't seem to matter to him anymore. My son is very hurt and angry too.

Probably he had blocked the XXXXXXX some weeks ago and he is still under paranoid delusions. Still if you are able to contact him then wait for his response. I can understand your pain and I know it's difficult to pass through this situation but we don't have any other option. You have mentioned that you can't go to Israel without him so waiting is one option left. Don't feel distressed, wait for his reply. Try to contact him on the day of his birthday.

The anger of your son is justified but he is ill and is not aware of his actions. He doesn't have insight so anything he does can't be considered as abnormal. Please try to realise that he is ill and currently he is having paranoid ideas.

You want me to send another email to him in a few days on his birthday even though I sent him one tonight? I had to send it through twice but it went through on the second try.. I told him how sad I was and that I cry because I miss him. What should I tell him on his birthday? I found an old email from last year in which I told my therapist XXXXXXX thought I was too "light" or good for him and I should find someone better than him who was as "pure" as I am even though he told me he was deeply in love with me...I think based on his voices he was hearing that he was a homicidal killer to " a woman" which he wrote in the injunction papers, I am pretty sure those voices were telling him to kill me and that would fit his delusion that something bad would happen to me if he was with me...I am thinking he is afraid of doing what the voices are telling him to do, that is, hurt or kill me..and/or my son. Does that make sense?

-As per my opinion you should mail him once again on his birthday. You have written about your condition to you and no need to mention that again.

-Just wish him Happy Birthday and wishes for good health. Expect for good thing.

-The voices were telling him to kill you and out of that fear possibly he has distanced yourself from you. This can make sense but as I haven't seen him personally so I can't say this with certainty. But such type of behaviour is found commonly in patients of Schizophrenia. Such fear of killing someone result in social withdrawal and negative symptoms in patients of schizophrenia.

Try to remain hopeful and keep patience. I hope this helps you.

Oh Dr Bishnoi, this rings so true about XXXXXXX I wish you could know him. My intuition tells me that this is what he is suffering. He is no longer working at his store we have heard he has hired his gal Friday to work the few hours he had been working. This is the only thing that makes sense to us given what we have known about him...it is heartbreaking like he really is trying to protect us from himself. He has essentially locked himself away in the prison of his home...it is so sad.. I can only imagine the torment he is going through...thanks so much..we have been praying for his healing..

His hallucinatory behaviour is the main reason for change in his behaviour. He has kept himself confined to home, which also supports our diagnosis for him.

Due to court orders you can't talk to him otherwise this would have helped him.
