Suggest Treatment For Paranoid Schizophrenia

Posted on Tue, 30 Dec 2014
Question: My son has Asperger's Syndrome. I have been dealing with a paranoid schizophrenic boyfriend who filed an injunction against us in July based on all of his delusions. He is almost 64 and a widower. His name is XXXXXXX ..he told me he was deeply in love with me and then dropped out of sight...next thing I know he files false injunction charges and is truly paranoid that I was going to have him involuntarily committed which is only partially delusional. I have been seriously depressed and my son started compulsively lying that he saw us drive past our house all this since July..I really last talked to the man in May but have been emailing him on and off for a few months and he has been alternatively blocking and unblocking our emails. A week ago I emailed that if he ever did that again I would have to call for a hearing and that he would likely be involuntarily committed...strapped to a gurney and fed meds...he did not block me that day or a week later this past Thursday now my son says he is afraid that XXXXXXX is just deleting our emails and may never come back..I don't know what to think now... XXXXXXX is still not contacting us but has unblocked his phones and his emails I don't know what to think...could he be deleting our emails when it would be easier just to block them?

I am afraid that my son is right and that my paranoid schizophrenic, delusional boyfriend will delete anything we send him even in the future and I will never see him again....

Brief Answer:
He is reading the XXXXXXX most probably, but have ambivalent thinking

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing to us again

As we interacted earlier also, He is suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia and he suddenly developed delusional idea against you and stopped contacting you. He is continuously blocking and unblocking your emails but is not replying. His repetitive blocking and unblocking itself prove that he is ambivalent in thinking. He has contradictory ideas to contact you and to not to contact you. Out of his paranoid ideas he blocks you again and then due to some improvement he unblocks you.

His unblocking of XXXXXXX after blocking you, also proves that he is thinking about you. As during blocking period of XXXXXXX you can't contact him by any means, still he unblocks you after that time, this means that he thinks about you during that period.

If he was deleting the XXXXXXX then why would he unblock you? Yes it would be easier to him to block you than deleting XXXXXXX He unblocked you and this means that he want to keep a contact with you, and he expects your XXXXXXX But as he is probably in ambivalence so at the same time he develops contradictory ideas.

Don't listen to your son, just give him some time to improve. Time will make everything right.

Thanks

Thanks Dr. Bishnoi. We cannot contact each other according to the injunction. It was withdrawn but the judge made us promise not to see each other. I found out though that he really wanted us to have no contact at all on Tuesday so maybe he found out that he is legally stuck and so are we. So his paranoid for a good reason. We could all get into trouble so I guess we cannot contact him at all until after August 25th. How will that work for us especially if we leave for Israel before we can see him? I feel really sad about it since I won't be here in August so his fear is probably based in fact. Thanks for any help u can give us. We are really sad now...

Brief Answer:
Although there is promise to not to see each other but at least send a card

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

First of all I would like to tell you that as injunction has been withdrawn so there is no legal problem you people can't contact each other. The judge has made you people promise to not to see each other but in some rare situation if you are compelled to contact him, there would be no problem. When are you people planning to leave for Israel?

I know August is very far, and your fear is right. But don't be pessimistic. If you can't mail him then as we discussed earlier also, at least send him greetings for Chanukah. It is possible that he may contact you as as per my opinion and experience he should come out of his ambivalence. Lets hope for best and don't loose faith.

Thanks

what do i do now?

Thank Dr Bishnoi. You are a man of faith I can tell. We are all messianic Jewish believers in Y'shua XXXXXXX too. Are u from Ukraine? We are praying for our brothers and sisters there. Michael's mother was a Maranov from Kiev. His father from Paris left France for U.S. in 1939 barely escaping the holocaust. God has a plan. I want to work with holocaust survivors. We hope to go to Israel as soon as we get the money from our settlement maybe after Pesach.... the U. S is not so friendly to us anymore. Our government is evil...most people are good same as Russia and Ukraine. Israel's government is only good one. Thanks so much. If we leave a card we will not sign it. When I mailed him something in XXXXXXX he mailed it back. The court transcript said we promised not to contact each other...we 2 are afraid...

Brief Answer:
Send his a card or e-card

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

As per my opinion as you have some time to move Israel then presently I would advise you to send him a card or may be e-card. Wait for some days then, it is likely that he would not reply. But this will make him realise that you have send him a card and in his unconscious mind he will appreciate this. This will help in reducing the ambivalence. Yes don't sign the card if you find it more convenient. You have good time so I hope the things will improve till that time.

No I am not from Ukraine, I am from XXXXXXX Yes the basically all people are good same but its the policies of governments that cause conflicts. Thanks for your good comments :).

Thanks,
Dr. Seikhoo Bishnoi
