![default](/r/images/default.png)
You may have infection of the testis.
Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!
Is the lesion in the scrotum or near the scrotum in the thigh area?
You may have orchitis or infection of the testicle and this is usually a complication of untreated urinary tract infection. A urinalysis and a scrotal ultrasound would be needed to help us diagnose your case. A portion of testicular cancer may present as pain and infection that is why an ultrasound is needed to rule out this dreaded disease.
For an infection antibiotic is needed and the drug of choice is ciprofloxacin. This is a prescription drug and you may need to see a local physician to write you a prescription. It is also advised to take pain medications and anti-inflammatory (e.g. Tylenol or Ibuprofen)
It would also help me if you can upload a good picture of your lesion for me to help you better.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://www.HealthcareMagic.com/doctors/dr-manuel-c-see-iv/66014 I would gladly help you. Best wishes.
