I read your question and i understand your concern. I am afraid with penile trauma of this extent not going to ER may worsen things up not just infection wise but also future erection and performance wise also urethra may get clogged and adhere and that could lead to recurrent infections and difficulty micturition.
So i would suggest to visit a doctor as soon as possible. Till then just use the bandages and wash with saline water and don't use any soap of any kind. Just saline wash and some antiseptic solution over it and then dress it with a bandage and seek a doctor at an earliest convenience.
