Suggest Treatment For Penis Rashes

Question: ive had some redness and discomfort on my penis for about 2 weeks now. the redness isn't a rash it just looks red all around the head of my penis and a little on the head,,,,,,doctor gave me antibiotics but they don't seem to be working. have been tested for std and all negative. have also been using lotramin for a week.
any idea what could cause this?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed glans of the penis to be red and there is little discomfort .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Did you have unprotected sex preceding this symptoms?
2) Does your female partner have vaginal discharge (Vaginitis)?
3) If it is protected sex ,do you use chemically lubricated condom?

Redness and discomfort of the glans penis is mostly due to allergic reaction to either vaginal secretions or chemicals of the condom used as a lubricant .

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical anti allergic steroid cream.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily

It should get cured within ten days.
