Suggest Treatment For Persistent Bleeding After Cervical Cerclage

I am 21weeks pregnant and last week I had a cervical cerclage at 19weeks3days.My doctor has prescribed me Sifasi 5000 UI since I was 6weeks pregnant though I was having some bleeding which stopped after taking two injection. But still my doctor has advised to take it till 8months.
So please suggest something better and let me know if there is any complications further due to the cerclage.Last year I had a miscarriage at 13weeks due to incompetent cervix.
Tablet susten is a better choice.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
I can understand your concerns,
As you told, you had history of incompetent cervix for which you underwent cerclage and you had spotting too for which you are advised to take injection sifasi.
Actually I usually advise injection Sifasi only for 14-16weeks. In my opinion there is no need to take it till 8 months.
Instead of injections, you should take tablet susten or Macgest (micronised progesteron) (prescription drug) after discussing this with your doctor. It has no serious adverse effects.
Cerclage itself will not cause any complications in pregnancy.
Take adequate bed rest, avoid heavy weight lifting, avoid long travelling.
Hope it helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Regards.

But I would like to mention that I have been taking DUBAGEST(progesterone) capsule twice daily as prescribed by my OB.
After having cerclage still I have having pain in my lower abdomen from last few days.Just wanted to know whether it is just normal cramps n pain or some serious symptoms of preterm labour.
Thanks

tocolytics drugs are advisable.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sorry for late response.
Then I advice that you should continue tablet progesterone. If it is difficult to get injection every week , you can stop injection form.
If you are experiencing mild pain in abdomen, it may because of preterm labour. But you need not to worry.I suggest you to take tocolytics drug like tablet nifedepine or terbutaline ( prescription drugs). It will prevent uterine contractions.consult your gynecologist.
Hope it helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.
