Suggest Treatment For Persistent Fever In A Child

She is having fever (100F) and running nose since last 2 days. Fever in not continuous but coming randomly.
I have given her only Calpol Syrup whenever she is having fever.
Today morning I have given her a small bath and again fever came.
Kindly suggest what to do now. She is not taking food properly.

Thanks for posting the query,
If the fever is exceeding 100 F then i suggest you to give her SYR. Ibrugesic 5ml. If it is below 100 F then you can continue with Calpol syrup.
When ever the temperature crosses 100 F. Taped sponging with mild XXXXXXX warm water plays a very good role than medicines.
All the kids loose their appetite during fever. You can give her any food she likes. Don't be specific about any food, just avoid oily and spicy food.
Give her lot of water and fluids. Just give her what ever she likes no matter even if it is junk food.
Your main intention should be not to dehydrate or make her starve.
Any issue do follow up.
