Suggest Treatment For Persistent Left Abdominal Pain And Fever

I looked at a medical chart and the pain is on my left side but it's lower than my stomach. it almost even with my hip bone. So this is probably dealing with my small or large colon.
Need physician's advise & treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thank you for the query on Health care magic platform. I have read it & understood your concern.
The recurrent abdominal pain on left side at the site you describe along with mild fever ...is seems to be an infection/ inflammation of .. may be some intestinal problems .. as you have guessed. But Abdomen has many more organs in the area which can also be the cause & these are also to be considered & excluded before you can get specific management of the cause. It can be-
- Stone in left Ureter which is trying to pass through the narrow lumen of ureter causing colicky pain, vomiting & sometimes loose motions too. mild infection you have is characteristic of accompanied renal infection .
-Though you seem to be postmenopausal.. involvement of ovarian problems/ adhesion/ abscess following previous surgeries can be the cause.
-Intestinal causes include viral / bacterial / amoebic infections / Irritable bowel syndrome/ diverticulitis/inflammatory bowel diseases like crown's disease.
* In this context i would advise to consult your family physician for preliminary assessment & investigations( urine & stool examinations, CBC/X ray / USG abdomen ..as per need.) . He may start treatment himself or may refer you to expert ( kidney specialist/ gastroenterologist/ gynecologist) as per need .
Specialist may undertake specialized investigations to pin point the cause followed by treatment.
* Apart from this personal care involves light nourishing diet/ drinking plenty of fresh & clean water/take rest/ avoid external applications, hot packs or massage to the area./ To follow experts advise & have positive approach.
* In short you need complete health assessment Followed by treatment as per expert advise along with personal care & get rid of the problem.
I hope the answer was both informative & useful to you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks
