Brief Answer:
Bacterial infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Based on the description of his symptoms and the test result I suspect it to be due to Bacterial infection. Such infection will take a minimum of one week to get cured. The antibiotics placed are good and suitable. The loose stools may stop on the third or fourth day after starting the antibiotics.
Give plenty of fluids to the kid. This will keep him active. Passing motion immediately after food, passing less amounts is all due to inflammation in the large intestines. This will surely come down in few days.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
