Lower back pain is common with wrong posture while sitting for long hours of desk work, lack of exercise, faulty sleeping couch if bed is not firm or is sagging, undue loading of back by weight and heavy objects lifting frequently. Apart from this improper nutrition or overweight are few common causes.

Regular back muscle strengthening exercises, hot fomentation, massage, correct posturing in lying and sitting or standing positions,proper nutrition and weight watching help a great deal.
