Question : what could be the cause of ongoing neck pain with headaches?

Detailed Answer:
This could be tension type headache where stiff neck neck muscles which attach to the top of the head create headaches.

This could also be related to arthritis.

Might consider some anti-inflammatory medications, heat therapy or possibly massage and this might help.
