Brief Answer:
Need an MRI also

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Welcome back.

I do remember your history.

It would have been better if you could have posted the X ray here. X rays show only injuries to the bones. Many a times X rays are normal but still disc prolapse cannot be entirely ruled out only on Xray.

If i remember well,i had suggested Xray as well as MRI done to entirely ruled out a disc prolapse.

Unless an MRI is done , we cannot confirm the diagnosis.

If an immediate MRI is not possible, take anti inflammatory analgesic tablets, use local gels. If you need travelling more, you can use lumbar belt around your waist as well.

Physiotherapy including lumbar traction, short wave diathermy, ultrasonic therapy or LASER therapy can help.

But i will still suggest a MRI because you still have pain inspite of a normal X ray.

Thank you.

Kind regards.
