Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rash In The Groin Area

Thanks
Also note the redness in the pictures is from recent picking of the skin?
Matches fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear Sir
Welcome.
I am Dr V XXXXXXX a Sr Dermatologist.
I have looked into your details and pics minutely and think that it is manageable because it matches a fungal infection that spread on from groins to the genitals. The first and third pics are an evidence favoring this while the second one shows subsided condition of the same.
I assume that you are not diabetic.
For someone in this state, The following would work fast and best
1 Good hygiene by cleaning with plain water four times a day and then drying up followed by Miconazole cream. Clotrimazole may be suspended for the time being.
2 Oral Ketocnazole 200 after ensuring that SGOT and SGPT are within normal range. Alternative would be to use Terbinafine 250 twice a day orally
3 Tab Levocetrizine 5 mg a day
Please wait for few days before it starts clearing as scratching causes some minor skin damage that hampers recovery
It is advisable to get tests for HIV done once again, 90 days from the date of unprotected exposure.
Let me know if there are any concerns. I will be glad to help.
Best wishes from our team!

It can take up to 90 days before the antibodies level build up
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
Thanks for your query.
The aim of getting HIV antibodies test at 90 days is because our bodies respond to infection by producing certain proteins which are so small in quantity in the initial period that they can be missed by initial testing. Therefore, it is desirable to have another test to confirm and be sure that the infection is indeed absent.
I will be glad to explain anything in more detail should you feel the need for the same.
Best wishes, Sir.
