Brief Answer:
Seems to be chronic sinusitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having persistent sinus infection. And Yes, symptoms can last long in case of chronic / persistent sinusitis. I would like to ask if there is any sequence of sneezes with running nose ?

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be chronic sinusitis secondary to allergic rhinitis or deviated nasal septum. I suggest you to consult ENT surgeon and get detailed ENT examination, blood tests (absolute eosinophilic count, serum I gE for allergic rhinitis). If necessary CT scan of para nasal sinuses (deviated septum, status of sinuses). depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.

Mean time, avoid exposure to food and environmental allergen, do steam inhalation to unclogg sinus openings.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Your symptoms are suggestive of postnasal drip (sinus secretion trickling in to the throat from sinuses) draining in to the lungs causing cough with productive mucus).

Kindly follow the instructions and investigations, what I have already mentioned.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
