Hello, Your patient has history of having been done nasal septum surgery and presently she is experiencing breathing difficulty. Your ENT specialist diagnosed the breathing trouble to be due to a gap in the nasal bone. It looks like your patient is experiencing complications after nasal septum surgery. May be she has a septal perforation, a hole inside the nose (septum) that produces an open connection between the right and left sides of the nose and hence causing the symptoms she is experiencing. You are suggested to get her a follow up clinical examination done by the doctor who did the surgery so that the gap / pathology or hole can be confirmed and treatment can be started at the earliest.
