Suggest Treatment For Phlegm And Hoarseness

Question: I have a problem with phlem and hoarseness, would like to know if there is anything for a cure.
I went to an Otolaryngology and was told to live with it as I was to old to go throuh having a shot in my throat. I am only 80 years old and tough as nails. I believe that if I can stand this discomfort, then I van stand anything. Is there any help?

As per your clinical history it appears that you are having allergic rhinitis causing phlem & hoarseness .

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you

Steam Inhalation twice daily, Plenty of fluids ,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Saline nasal spray &
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination once in night.
