Suggest Treatment For Pigmentation Marks On Cheek
Sunscreen &either azaleic acid 20%Or kojic acid 2%along with chemical peel
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have read your question and I have noted your concern.
Apart from using a sunscreen, throughout the day (reapply every 2-3 hours), which is a good preventive measure and should be continued in order to prevent a recurrence of melasma, you must use a more potent pigment reducing cream containing ingredients e.g either azaleic acid 20% or kojic acid 2%, twice daily.
Also you may take a few sessions of chemical peeling e.g 35% glycolic acid chemical peel Or 15%-20% Trichloroacetic chemical peel to augment the action of peels.
Once pigmentation abates, regular use a of a sunscreen and a maintenance pigment reducing cream e.g glycolic acid 10% cream would be ideal to prevent a recurrence.

And can i use melaclear(10%vit c + phytic acid ) along with azelac....will the drugs act in synergy?
Azaleic acid 20%
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Azaleic acid is used for rosacea as well. It is available as various brand names like Finacea, Azelex etc. You may try if you can get one of these otc.
You may use your regular product along with azaleic acid but at seperate times e.g use azaleic acid at night and melaclear during the day. Of course they would work additively (add up) but there is a risk of irritation, therefore you have to be cautious and if you notice any irritation you need to discontinue your regular product. A better option would be just use azaleic acid gel/ cream 20%, twice daily along with a sunscreen.
Ideally your routine should be azaleic acid 20% during day followed by sunscreen over it, every 2-3 hours and then in evening azaleic acid again.
